Why aren’t my Fitbit steps syncing? (Android)

Seeing steps on your Fitbit, but not on your Noom app? Make sure you’ve synced your Fitbit device between the Fitbit app and your Fitbit cloud account. You can follow Fitbit’s guide here.

If  your Fitbit and Noom are set up properly but your steps still aren’t showing in Noom:

  1. Open Noom and tap the sandwich menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner
  2. Tap Settings > Apps & Devices Connect Additional Devices
  3. Tap Disconnect on Fitbit
  4. Go to your Fitbit account here and search for Noom Coach
  5. Tap Revoke Access
  6. Open Noom and reconnect your Fitbit by tapping Settings > Apps & Devices > Connect Additional Devices and then Connect alongside Fitbit.
  7. Enable the following required permissions:
    • Profile
    • Fitbit devices and settings
    • Activity and exercise
WARNING: All 3 options MUST be selected or your steps won’t sync. They aren’t optional!
  8. Tap Allow
  9. Tap Settings > Apps & Devices > Choose Steps Data Source
  10. Select Fitbit

The initial sync may take a while. If your steps still don’t show in Noom, please contact us and we’ll help you sync your steps from Fitbit to the Noom app. Just make sure to let us know how many steps show on your fitbit.com cloud account and your Noom account.
