If you’re running into issues while using Noom, here are a few troubleshooting methods that could help solve the problem:
Force-Close Noom:
Sometimes your Noom App just needs a quick restart.
- Force-close the app by holding down the home button of your Android device until a list of your currently open apps displays (if holding the home button doesn’t do this, try tapping the overview button) > find Noom (you may need to swipe right or left to see it) > swipe up or right to close Noom, as well as swipe all apps shown or tap Close All to close all other background-running programs.
- Clear the cache and data to Noom. To do this, go to your device’s App list > Settings > Apps > Noom > Storage > tap Clear Data. It’s okay to select the option to Delete Data because it won’t result in any permanent data loss. This option only clears temporary app data that is safe to delete.
If the problem persists, please move on to the next troubleshooting method.
Check to make sure you’re on the latest version of the app:
How do I know if I’m on the latest version of Noom?
- Make sure Noom is on the latest version by returning to the Google Play Store. If there’s no Update button, then you’re already on the latest version.
- If you see the Update button, tap it to update to the latest version.
- Power off your device and wait 30 seconds.
- Power your device back on.
The newest version of the app will contain plenty of bug fixes, so hopefully, this solves your problem. If there’s no option to update, please move on to the last troubleshooting method.
Uninstall and reinstall the Noom app:
Please note that our servers almost always restore your Noom data after a reinstall, but there’s a small chance that you could lose some of your data. If this happens, we won’t be able to restore it for you. To help prevent this from happening, make sure to not disturb Noom when your data is being retrieved from the servers.
