If you’re running into issues while using Noom, here are a few troubleshooting methods that could help solve the problem:
Force-Close Noom:
Sometimes your Noom App just needs a quick restart.
- Force-close the app by double-pressing the home button quickly. If you don’t have a home button, swipe up slowly from the bottom of your device’s home screen, then swipe up again on Noom to close the app.
If the problem persists, please move on to the next troubleshooting method.
Check to make sure you’re on the latest version of the app:
How do I know if I’m on the latest version of Noom?
- Make sure Noom is on the latest version by returning to the App Store. If it says Open, then you’re already on the latest version.
- If you see the Update button, tap it to update to the latest version.
- Power off your device and wait 30 seconds.
- Power your device back on.
The newest version of the app will contain plenty of bug fixes, so hopefully, this solves your problem. If there’s no option to update, please move on to the last troubleshooting method.
Uninstall and reinstall the Noom app:
Please note that our servers almost always restore your Noom data after a reinstall, but there’s a small chance that you could lose some of your data. If this happens, we won’t be able to restore it for you. To help prevent this from happening, make sure to not disturb Noom when your data is being retrieved from the servers.
- Force-close the app by double-pressing the home button quickly. (If you don’t have a home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, then right).
- Find the Noom app and swipe up to close it.
- Uninstall the app by tapping and holding Noom’s icon and selecting Delete App. If your phone is an older model (iOS 12 or below), an X appears in the icon’s top-left corner when you tap and hold. Tapping this X will allow you to delete the Noom app.
- Power off your device. Hold down its power button and then Slide to turn off, as the screen says. Leave it powered down for 30 seconds.
- Power the phone on by pressing and holding its power button.
- Once your device is powered back up, reinstall Noom. Open the App Store and download the Noom app again.
- Open Noom and select the Log In link/button on the welcome page. Choose your appropriate login method and sign in.
Having issues deleting the Noom app?
Make sure you’re deleting the Noom app from your App Library instead of removing it from your Home Screen.
- From the Home Screen of your device, swipe left until you see the App Library.
- Tap the search field, then enter the name of the app that you’re looking for (Noom).
- Long-press or tap and hold on the Noom app and select Delete App.
- Power down your phone for 30 seconds.
- After you power the phone back up, you should be able to reinstall the Noom app from the App Store.
